Was sure a $40 nipping press was a scam, now I swear by it
Picked up a cheap nipping press off eBay from a seller in Ohio, thought for sure it'd be junk with all the fuss about buying name brand ones. Ran my first stack of signatures through it last Tuesday and the creases came out SO clean, no more wrestling with bone folders for forever. Has anyone else had luck with budget pressing gear, or did I just hit the lottery on this one?
Feeling you on this one, man. I was the same way about a used book press I grabbed for cheap, figured I'd be fighting it forever, but it's been a total workhorse. Sometimes the budget stuff just gets it done, you know?
