Appreciation post: That one customer who told me my terrariums looked like sad little prisons
She said my moss was suffocating under too much glass, so I drilled big air holes in the lid and now the ferns actually breathe instead of rotting after two weeks.

Bet that customer saved your whole setup. Sometimes the harsh feedback is the best kind.

Wait, did you actually thank her later? Because that's exactly what happened to me with my air plant setups. I had them in these pretty glass orbs with no airflow, thought they looked like tiny planets or something. Some guy walks by and says "those are just green trash in fancy jars, they're gonna rot in a week." Man, he was right. Added mesh tops and now they actually dry out properly between waterings. Best thing that ever happened to my display table.
