I tried growing my tomatoes in a raised bed versus a big pot on my patio this year. The bed won by a mile.

Yeah, the bed always wins. The roots just have way more room to spread out.

Tell me about it. My last attempt at a garden was a total flop. The weeds in the yard just completely took over, choked everything out. Guess I'm better at driving a rig than keeping plants alive.
