My friend told me my 'plant corner' looked like a sad hospital waiting room

Honestly, I had all my houseplants in identical white pots on a single shelf, and she said it felt sterile and didn't show their personalities. So I switched it up with different colored pots, added a small trellis for the pothos, and grouped them by their light needs instead. Has anyone else gotten a piece of advice that totally changed how you arrange your plants?

Switched from a single row of plants to using different height stands. The visual layers made everything look less like a sad office. Also stopped lining them up perfectly, a little chaos looks more alive.

River_scott, it's just plants. You're acting like you redesigned the whole room. A little chaos is fine but calling it a sad office before is a bit much. People get way too deep about decor.
