Wait, what exactly are you looking to buy here? A weed trimmer or a blower or something else? I've gone through about four different trimmers in the last year because my yard is a jungle and I'm picky. The one that's actually held up for me is the Echo SRM-225. It's not the cheapest thing out there but it starts every time, even after sitting in my shed for three months. My neighbor bought a cheap one from a big box store and it died halfway through his first summer. Just don't get the battery powered ones if you have a bigger yard, they just don't have the guts for it.
