Felt dumb for being skeptical about EEG headsets for 6 months
I was totally against those consumer EEG headsets for a long time. Thought they were just toys for flashing lights and fake meditation scores. Then I borrowed a friend's Muse headset for a week and actually used it to help focus during coding sessions. I tracked my calm state while working on a React project and saw my distraction patterns drop by 30%. The raw data in the app made me realize it's not magic, it's just reading your brain's electrical signals in a basic way. Has anyone else had a similar switch from skeptic to believer after actually trying one of these things?

My dog wore my Fitbit once and I got data on her napping patterns.

Our cat decided to sleep on my wife's Apple Watch one afternoon and it registered her heartbeat as "resting" for like six hours straight. She just assumed I had become incredibly zen for no reason.
