Got my first BCI headset to work by putting a wet paper towel on my forehead
My cheap EEG headband kept losing signal every 5 minutes during a coding session last Tuesday. I remembered reading about sweat improving conductivity, so I just folded a damp paper towel under the forehead sensor. The signal stabilized immediately and stayed locked for over an hour. Has anyone else tried a weird physical hack like this to get a better read?

Wow, that's a clever fix for a stubborn sensor.

Clever fix" is right, @jordancoleman. That's the kind of move you only try after you've already smacked the thing three times and called it a bad name. Honestly, half of fixing tech is just creative violence disguised as a solution.

Hang on, you actually tried smacking it? I thought that was just a joke, not a real step. I'd be worried about breaking the whole thing open.
