Honestly, that's a huge price gap for a senior project. Tbh unless you're trying to publish in a top journal, the cheaper one is probably fine. Ngl I doubt the data needs to be that perfect.

Man, that's a tough choice. Did your advisor have any strong feelings about it? I'd be sweating that budget difference too.

Tough choice" is putting it lightly, @riverg75. My advisor just shrugged and said "your money, your problem" so that was helpful. Honestly at this point I'm just gonna flip a coin and blame the outcome on budget cuts.
