That demo unit at the Seattle convention center last month changed my mind completely. The latency was under 10 milliseconds, which is basically nothing. I could feel the in-game textures just by thinking about touching them. It's not a scam, it's just tech that's way ahead of its time and most people haven't tried it. The price is insane, but the actual tech works.

Okay the "feel the in-game textures just by thinking" part got me. I was totally with the original poster calling it a scam. Then I tried one at a friend's place last weekend. My brain can't unfeel that. It's real, it just costs more than my rent.
