Just noticed something weird at the BCIA conference in San Diego

I was at the Brain-Computer Interface Alliance conference last week and saw a demo where a guy controlled a robotic arm with just his thoughts, but his movements were super jerky and delayed by like 2 seconds. The presenter said it's because their decoder chip has a latency issue from filtering out noise. Has anyone else seen this kind of lag in real-time BCI demos and found a way around it?

Wait, so his arm was shaking around like a glitchy robot from 1995 and they just called it "latency"?

@Gavin_kim3 man that is wild. I saw the clip and my jaw dropped, how do you even classify that as latency when it looked like a full on seizure?
