Messed around with mine during a heatwave last summer and it was a total disaster. Thought the connection was fine but the adhesive started peeling from all the sweat, next thing I know I'm getting these phantom pains in my left hand that weren't there. Took me three days to realize the band had slipped forward and was pressing on a nerve right above my ear. Felt like I was losing my mind for a bit. Had a buddy who just gave up on his headband entirely and went back to the old pill routine after a similar scare made him think he had a real brain issue. What did you end up doing to sort yours out?

Have you checked the electrode placement on your headband? I had a similar thing happen when one of the contacts was sitting crooked against my skin. Turned out the gel patch had dried out in one spot and it was sending all kinds of weird signals. A quick clean and reseat fixed it right up. Also make sure your firmware is up to date, the last update fixed a lot of glitchy behavior for me.
