My first EEG headband demo went sideways on Tuesday
I spent last Tuesday at a clinic in Austin trying out a consumer EEG headband for a focus study, and the calibration session went completely wrong. The software kept dropping the signal every time I blinked, and after about 40 minutes of retries, the rep admitted the dry electrodes needed a saline spray we didn't have. Has anyone else had trouble with dry contact sensors in real-world settings, or is it just me and this particular model?

Did you try wetting the pads with plain water? That saved my demo once.

Wait, did the water mess with the conductivity at all? I always worry about shorting something out or leaving residue behind that changes the signal later. Like, did you just dab it on the pads or full on soak them?
