My neuro professor keeps calling BCIs a 'mind reading' tool and it drives me nuts

I mean, that's not how it works at all, it's about translating specific neural signals into commands. It's like saying a keyboard reads your thoughts because you type 'hello'. Anyone else get frustrated when people oversimplify the tech like this?

Yeah, I thought that too until my lab work.

Man same here. Got blood work done last year and it hit me hard how off some things were. Was sure I felt fine until those numbers came back and I had to take a real look at my habits. That lab work changes everything once you see it in black and white.
