My OpenBCI headset gave up mid-demo at a meetup in Portland last month
I was showing a group how to read alpha waves during a meditation exercise and the dry electrodes just stopped connecting to my scalp. Turned out the conductive gel had dried out in the case because I forgot to check it after 3 weeks of sitting unused. Anyone else had their gear fail at the worst possible moment because of something simple like dried gel or dead batteries?

Man, dried gel got me too right before a big demo last spring.
