Realized I was using the wrong calibration signal for my EEG cap for 6 months
I was hooking up my OpenBCI board and kept getting weird noise patterns on channels 5 and 6. For almost half a year I thought it was a grounding issue or bad gel. Then a grad student at the lab next door glanced at my setup and asked why I was using a 50Hz notch filter in the US. Turns out I needed 60Hz the whole time. Anyone else make a dumb frequency mistake that threw off their data for months?

That's rough buddy, once I spent a month troubleshooting a radio because I forgot to plug the antenna in.
