That moment my neural interface glitched mid-shift at a job site in Denver
Was running a diagnostic on a customer's panel when my BCI headset started feeding me random snippets of a podcast I listened to 3 days ago instead of the breaker map I had loaded. Had to pull the battery pack and restart the whole thing, standing there in a half-finished basement staring at a wall for 90 seconds while the homeowner watched like I was having a stroke. Anyone else's device just randomly dump old memory on you like that?

Ha, honestly I used to defend these things but that story just changed my mind completely.

Oh man, I've been there too! What fixed it for me was always reading the fine print and checking the manufacturer's warranty before buying anything like that. Seriously, I started taking screenshots of the return policy when I ordered, just in case. Also, paying with a credit card that has purchase protection saved me once when something arrived broken. It's a pain but taking those steps makes a huge difference.
