Tried a dry EEG headband vs a wet electrode cap for focus tracking. Clear winner.
I used a Muse headband with dry sensors for about 3 months and thought it was decent. But last week I borrowed a friends g.Tec cap with wet electrodes for a weekend. The difference was night and day. My alpha wave patterns actually made sense with the wet setup, no random spikes every time I moved my head. The dry one gave me fuzzy data that made me second guess everything. Has anyone else found the wet electrodes worth the extra setup time vs the convenience of dry ones?

Yeah wet electrodes are way better for clean data. Worth the hassle.

Funny you say that, a buddy of mine tried the wet electrodes for a sleep study last month. He said the gel was cold and sticky, but the data came out crystal clear compared to his old dry setup. He actually fell asleep faster too because the connection was so solid no constant fiddling with placement or re-sticking things in the middle of the night.
