Watching my nephew play a video game with his eyes versus his hands was a total lightbulb moment.

He tried a basic eye-tracker first, but the new BCI headset let him select targets just by thinking, which was way faster and less tiring. Has anyone else seen a jump that big between input methods?

Used to think BCI stuff was pure hype, some sci-fi nonsense that would never actually work in real life. But watching a demo where a kid controlled a game just by intending to move changed EVERYTHING. The speed difference between eye tracking and direct thought is way bigger than I expected, it's not even close. That leap from external input to internal intent feels like the real deal, not just marketing fluff. Completely flipped my opinion on this stuff.

Remember when upgrading from a trackpad to a mouse felt huge. This is like going from a mouse to telepathy. The future is weird.

Telepathy? Wait, what are we even talking about now, @lunar47... that sounds made up.
