A lasagna layering moment that improved my brickwork

I was watching a cooking show and saw how the chef stacked lasagna layers neatly. It made me realize that bricklaying is just like that, each row needs to be perfect. On my last project, I thought about those even layers while setting bricks. I took more time to check each course before adding the next one. Now my walls look better and stay straight. It's cool how a kitchen idea can help on the job. Have you ever gotten a work tip from something random like that?

Sometimes the BEST tricks come from watching how others do things totally unrelated to your own work.

It's like cross training for your brain. I picked up a trick for remembering student names from a bartender who knew every regular's drink. Different skills can fit together in surprising ways if you're open to seeing the connections.

Honestly used to think you needed to focus only on your own field. Watching a chef organize their kitchen totally changed how I manage my projects though. Solid point from @dakota_gibson on borrowing ideas from anywhere.
