Seriously? One bad chimney repair and you're suddenly a mortar master? I guess when the premade stuff fails, you have no choice but to do it yourself. Now you're probably mixing mud like a pro, all because of some damp bricks. At least you learned the hard way that bagged mortar can't cut it in wet conditions. Just don't start giving out advice no one asked for at hardware stores.

Yeah, calling yourself a mortar master after one job is a stretch. Next thing you know, you'll be redoing your entire foundation because you watched a YouTube video. But hey, at least you learned about wet mortar the hard way.
