I thought those new plastic spacers for brick courses were a total gimmick
My boss on a job in Springfield about five years back made us use them instead of our old metal ones, and I rolled my eyes hard. But after laying a whole wall with them, I didn't have to adjust a single brick for height, which saved me maybe an hour of fussing. They just pop out clean and you can reuse them a bunch of times. Anyone else have a tool they hated at first that actually won them over?

Actually, they're called brick line blocks.

Felix155 is right, we always called them line blocks on the job.
