Update: That 3-year-old brick order from the Cincinnati job just showed up at the yard
Honestly, the foreman called me yesterday saying a pallet of the exact blend we needed for the coursing was just sitting there. Has this ever happened to anyone else, or is our supplier just that wild?

That's actually kind of wild, but maybe it's just me, I feel like suppliers are getting worse. I mean, three years? That's not a delay, that's a whole different project cycle. I'd be checking every single brick on that pallet for damage after sitting who-knows-where for that long.

Follow up with @aaron677's thought and check if that invoice even counts anymore, most places drop it after 90 days. Three years in a warehouse could mean moisture damage even if the pallet looks okay, the bricks might crumble when you try to cut them. Better to open that pallet now before you end up on a jobsite with a load of junk.

Check if the invoice is still valid. Might be a collector's item by now.
