A visa rule in Vietnam cost me a whole extra day in line
I thought I had my visa on arrival letter for Hanoi all set, but they wanted a specific passport photo size I didn't have. The airport photo booth line was huge and slow. It took over 5 hours to get through everything when I planned for maybe one. Has anyone else run into photo size issues there and know a faster fix?

Heard a buddy got caught by the photo rule too, but in Ho Chi Minh City. He ended up finding a guy with a small digital camera and printer set up just outside the airport doors, paid a bit extra but skipped that huge booth line.

Wonder if that guy outside even has a permit, or if you're just buying a photo from some random's backpack.

Yeah, that photo rule is such a pain. My cousin had the same thing happen in Bangkok, had to run around the arrivals hall looking for the right booth while juggling all his bags. It feels like they make it hard on purpose. Your buddy was smart to find that workaround outside, even if it cost a little more. Sometimes paying extra to skip the hassle is totally worth it.
