My carry-on only rule came from a pricey baggage fee surprise.
I used to check bags, but now I only use carry-ons to save money.

What?! How much are they charging now? I mean I remember when it was like twenty five bucks, which was bad enough. Now I'm hearing it can be over fifty each way just for a checked bag. That's just crazy to me, idk when that became normal. You end up paying more to check a bag than you did for some of the ticket deals. Makes you wonder what they'll start charging for next.
