Question about airport lounge day passes
I paid $60 for one in Frankfurt last year and the place was so packed I couldn't even find a seat. What's a better way to kill a long layover without spending that much?

Frankfurt airport has those free rest zones with lounge chairs. I just find one, plug in my phone, and zone out for a few hours. Way better than paying for a crowded spot.

Those rest zones are always packed and loud. People snore, kids run around, and announcements blast every five minutes. Trying to sleep there feels like trying to nap in a busy mall. Paying for a quiet lounge chair is worth it for actual rest.

Wait, is it bad that I've actually fallen asleep standing up in one of those rest zones before? I sat down against a pillar for TWO minutes and woke up with a stranger's bag on my lap and drool on my shirt. So yeah, paying for a quiet lounge chair might be smarter than my current strategy of "collapse anywhere and hope for the best.
