That time I spent 4 hours trying to book a flight with points on a Saturday
I was trying to book a flight from Denver to Chicago using airline miles and it took me forever. The website kept glitching out and showing different prices for the same route depending on which browser I used. I spent a good 4 hours clicking around trying to find a decent redemption that didn't cost a million points. Finally figured out that using the airline's mobile app actually showed way more available seats than the desktop site. Also learned that searching on a Tuesday morning gave way better point deals than late on a Saturday. Has anyone else noticed big differences between the app and website for booking awards?

Used to be the kind of guy who'd just use whatever site popped up first and assume it was all the same. Then I tried booking a trip to Phoenix one night and the desktop site wanted 45k points for a basic economy seat. Switched to the app on a whim and the same flight showed up for 18k. Completely flipped how I search now. Always crosscheck the app and the browser, and I'll wait till Tuesday or Wednesday if I can. The Saturday thing is real too - no idea why they hide all the good redemptions on weekends.
