DAE feel awesome after a year of slow saving for a goal?

I put $25 into a separate account each Friday for a new couch. Watching the balance creep up was tough sometimes. But after 12 months, I walked into the store and paid in full. Having that patience really made the purchase feel earned.

My savings plan for a new TV was more like five bucks whenever I remembered. I mean, half the time I'd just order pizza instead, so my fund was basically a joke. But seeing posts like this makes me wanna try the Friday thing, even if it sounds tough. @the_henry is probably right that the patience pays off, but I'd probably celebrate too early and blow it on snacks.
