Found a $14/mo library card loophole that saved my grocery budget

My food costs were out of control, like $900 a month for just me and my kid. I tried couponing, meal prepping, all that stuff. Nothing stuck until I realized my local library in Phoenix has a seed library AND a community garden plot you can reserve for free with your card. I planted tomatoes, peppers, and zucchini in March. Harvested about 40 pounds total so far. Also they lend out pressure canners, so I canned a bunch of salsa and sauce. Grocery bill dropped to around $600 last month. Anyone else use their library for stuff like tools or seeds? I never thought to look past books.

She borrowed a huge industrial ladder from the library to paint her two-story house, saved like $80 on a rental from Home Depot.
