Hot take: I stopped buying coffee out for a month and the number surprised me
Last month, I decided to track every coffee I would have bought at a shop. I made it at home instead. By the end of the month, I had saved $87. I just put that cash in a jar on my counter. It's a small thing, but seeing the physical money pile up worked better than any app for me. Has anyone else tried a simple cash jar for a specific habit they wanted to break?

Oh man, that's a solid chunk of change! The visual thing with the jar is so smart, it makes the win feel real. I did the same with takeout lunches and used the cash for a fun weekend trip. Sticking the money in a boring savings account just doesn't hit the same way.

What did you end up doing with the trip money?
