Just realized my friend's grocery hack saved him $80 a month
He told me he only buys meat on Tuesdays because that's when his local store marks down the older cuts. I always shopped on weekends and paid full price. Does anyone else plan their whole shopping trip around one specific sale day?

Wow, my shopping "strategy" is just to go when I'm out of ketchup.

Actually, most stores mark down meat a day or two before the sell-by date, not just on one set day.
