Just saved $40 on my phone bill after hearing a coworker mention prepaid plans

I overheard this guy in the break room at work talking about how he pays $25 a month for unlimited data on some prepaid network, so I checked it out and now I'm on the same thing. Has anyone else switched to a prepaid plan and actually seen big savings?

@bettyk53 has a point about the fine print lol. The plan I got is $25 but it's not truly unlimited, it's like 30 gigs then it slows way down. Still way cheaper than what I was paying before though. I use maps and spotify all day and haven't hit the cap yet, but I'm not a big streamer either.

25 bucks for unlimited data sounds too good to be true, honestly. I've seen people jump on those deals before and then get slapped with weird throttling after like 5 gigs, (you know, the fine print they don't mention). It probably works fine if you're mostly on wifi, but if you stream much or use maps a lot, I'd be real careful.
