My coworker's lunchbox got me thinking about my spending.
I tried packing my own and cut my lunch costs in half. How have you adjusted your habits to save money?

Honestly used to grab a coffee every single morning without even blinking. Seeing my boss with her beat up travel mug every day kind of shamed me into it. Started making a pot at home and bringing it in a thermos. It sounds so small but when I did the math for the month it was a real shock, that money adds up fast. Completely changed how I look at those little daily buys.

That daily coffee tax will get you. Run the numbers on drive-thru breakfasts sometime. I did it after my third kid was born and nearly choked. Switched to making big batches of muffins on Sundays. Now I laugh when I pass the coffee shop line. It's all about catching those leaks before they sink the boat.
