Noticed folks ditching brand names for store labels, and my wallet's thanking me

I switched over last month and saved over fifty bucks. Why are people still paying for fancy packaging when the stuff inside is the same?

The fancy packaging thing got me thinking too... I switched to the store brand cereal and it's literally the same flakes in a different bag. Saved a bunch and didn't notice a difference.
