Shoutout to my bank's spending chart for showing me the coffee problem

I was looking at my monthly spending on the app and saw a $75 charge labeled 'cafe' from last Tuesday... that's when I realized I was buying a latte every single morning. Has anyone else had a small daily habit add up like that and what did you cut first?

Hold up, wait. $75 on a single cafe visit? I thought you meant $75 total for the whole month or something. That's more than my weekly grocery budget for one latte and a little quiet time. Like, I get the whole self care argument but there's a line. Maybe it's just me but for that amount you could buy a bag of fancy beans and make like 30 lattes at home. Gotta draw the line somewhere before your bank account cries.

Honestly that $75 cafe charge sounds like money well spent to me. You're not just buying coffee, you're buying a little quiet time and a nice start to your day. Cutting out small joys like that to save a few bucks seems like a fast track to feeling miserable. Life is too short to skip the good coffee, what's the point of working hard if you can't enjoy a simple latte?

That's a wild amount for coffee though.
