Turned out my spreadsheet was adding tax wrong in one cell, and my partner watched me recheck every receipt from the whole month before I caught it, so now I have to ask: does anyone else do a full audit over pocket change or am I just wired weird?

Honestly the part that gets me is you kept every receipt for a whole month. Like was that on purpose or did they just pile up in a drawer somewhere? Because my system is shoving them in my bag until it weighs ten pounds and then I go through them all at once. Also what made your partner just stand there watching instead of saying something? Mine would've called it after twenty minutes, tops. I need to know if this was a silent support thing or a quiet "let him cook" situation.
