That $20 meal prep container set I was sure would fall apart is still going strong 8 months later
I grabbed a 10-pack of glass meal prep containers from a discount store in Austin last March mostly as a joke because I figured they'd crack by week two. They've survived being dropped off a counter, thrown in the microwave by my roommate who doesn't read labels, and about a million dishwasher cycles without a single chip. Has anyone else had a cheap kitchen win that actually outlasted the fancy stuff?

Man glass is just built different honestly. I've got a $5 thrift store Pyrex that's outlived three relationships.

My roommate had that same glass set from a discount store and it all shattered within 4 months because the glass wasn't tempered right. Cheap glass is just cheap glass and you got lucky with yours. I'll take my $60 set from Target that's guaranteed for life over a dice roll any day.
