That cheap meal prep container set I bought at Target actually saved me $60 this month
I always thought those cheap plastic containers were a waste. Bought a 12 pack for $8 back in March. I started making lunches on Sunday instead of buying fast food. Today I added up what I spent on lunch at work in April vs this month. April was about $120. This month I spent like $55 on groceries for lunch stuff. The containers paid for themselves in like 2 days. Has anyone else had a small buy turn into a bigger win than expected?

Did I just spend $30 on a fancy lunch box that I've used exactly twice? Yeah my impulsive Tupperware purchase was a MUCH bigger win than I expected.

The lunch box game is real once you find one that actually works for your life. It's wild how the right container can make you actually want to meal prep instead of buying takeout. $30 is nothing compared to what you'd spend eating out every day lol.
