Found a weird way to get around a news block in my country

I mean, my friend in Manila sent me a link to a story about a local protest, but it was totally blocked here. I got annoyed and just typed the main facts from his text into a private note app on my phone. Idk why, but I then pasted that text into a public search for image descriptions, like for blind people. It worked, the search pulled up the full story from some small site that wasn't blocked. Maybe it's just me but that felt like a silly shortcut that actually did the trick. Has anyone else found a dumb workaround like that for blocked news?

My cousin used a recipe site's comment section once.

Recipe comment sections are a wild ride (trust me).

People get so worked up about those comment sections. It's just a place where folks talk about how they changed the recipe. How bad could it really be? Your cousin probably just saw someone say they used almond milk instead of regular. The drama gets blown way out of proportion sometimes. It's not like it's a life or death situation, it's just cooking tips.
