Found out our local government here in Oregon quietly blocked a report on pesticide runoff

I was reading through some city council minutes last week and stumbled onto this thing where they voted to not release a 47 page study about farming chemicals getting into the river. The guy who wrote it told me they claimed it was 'incomplete data' but I think they just didnt want bad press before the harvest season. Has anyone else run into their town hiding something that directly affects the water supply?
