Got a DMCA takedown for a news article that was already removed in China
Some guy in Shanghai sent me a link to a local protest story, and when I reposted it on my blog, a US company hit me with a copyright claim. Has anyone else had western platforms enforce foreign censorship through copyright law?

Man that's exactly what happened to me with some Hong Kong airport stuff, wild how copyright gets weaponized like that.

Respectfully disagree though - copyright is copyright for a reason.
