Hot take: The 'nothing to hide' argument is a trap, but maybe we need some limits.
I saw a story about a journalist's work being blocked for 'national security' reasons in Turkey. On one hand, that's clearly censorship. On the other, I get why some things can't be public. Where's the line for you?

That's a pretty scary way to look at it. The line should be based on the rules, not just what one person feels like.

Read an article recently that said most disputes in amateur sports come from inconsistent reffing, not bad rules themselves. When one ref calls it tight and another lets things slide, nobody knows where the line actually is anymore. A clear, consistent standard beats a charismatic official every time, even if they're trying their best.
