Hot take: the "report deleted" trick for buried news actually works if you know where to look
Been following a local water quality story in Flint that got almost zero coverage outside one small blog. Tried sharing links on social media and they kept getting flagged or hidden. Someone told me to use the report deletion trick on a certain news aggregator site. Basically you submit the story with a note saying it was removed unfairly from another platform. Worked for me 3 times now. The story got picked up by a bigger outlet after it showed up on the aggregator. Anyone else had luck with this method or found other workarounds?

I mean is it really that deep though? Feels like one of those internet tricks where people get worked up over stuff that barely matters. Idk, maybe I'm just not seeing the big deal, but there's gotta be easier ways to share a link without jumping through all these hoops.

Friend of mine spent like an hour trying to set one of these up only to realize the link was broken the whole time. Kinda makes you wonder who actually finds this stuff useful, right?
