Tried to find the original report on a factory fire in a province I won't name.
I saw a brief mention on a foreign news site about a big industrial accident. When I searched for it using local news sites and the main search engine there, I found nothing but old, positive stories about the company. I used a VPN to check archives from outside the country and found a full report from a regional paper that had been taken down. It said over 200 workers were inside. Makes you wonder what gets decided isn't news. Anyone run into a solid wall of silence like this before?

Try searching for good news, you'll find a whole archive of it.

Searching for it is the whole problem though... the good stuff shouldn't be buried. The bad news finds you first, every single time.

Joke about my search history being a total mess... I typed "happy stories" into Google once and it still served me a murder article before a single feel-good rescue dog video. My phone's algorithm must think I'm a sad sack who only wants bad news. Guess it's easier to find "man loses everything in flood" than "local bakery gives free cookies to strangers.
