Grocery stores in my area are switching to electric vans for deliveries
I've noticed all three major grocery chains near me now have electric delivery vans. They used to run noisy diesel trucks that bothered the neighborhood. Now it's quieter and probably cheaper for them in the long run. One store manager told me upkeep costs dropped by half. But I worry about where they charge all these vans. It seems like a smart move for their everyday work. Still, I wonder if the upfront cost was worth it.

Always doubted the real savings from switching to electric fleets. Hearing that upkeep costs fell by half shows the long-term payoff. That kind of efficiency probably justifies the initial investment.

Wish I could ignore the crazy upfront cost though.
