My accountant told me to stop buying cheap tools for the business

I argued it saved money upfront, but he showed me the repair bills from last quarter. The $300 I saved on a pressure washer pump cost me over $800 in lost jobs and service calls. Anyone else get burned by trying to cut costs on equipment?

Our old bargain drill press broke three times in a month. Switched to a mid-range brand and it's been solid for two years now.

Totally agree with lunar47, my cheap one died after a few projects and the replacement just keeps going.

Honestly, lunar47 is right, learned that lesson with a cheap table saw.
