My simple checklist for project handoffs is paying off

I kept missing small stuff when wrapping up design work. So I wrote down a few steps to check before sending files to clients. Now, everything goes out clean and on time. It saved me from three extra emails just this week. Why didn't I try this sooner?

Checklists seem to help with all kinds of tasks, not just professional ones. I started using one for errands and it stops me from forgetting important stuff. It's one of those simple fixes that makes daily life smoother.

Seriously, checklists have saved me so many times when running errands. I used to always forget milk or something basic, but now I jot everything down before leaving the house. It feels like my brain can relax because the list holds all the details. Even for weekend chores, having a checklist means I actually get things done instead of just thinking about them. That little bit of structure makes such a difference in daily chaos.

But don't you think checklists can make your mind lazy? I tried them for errands and still forgot things because I relied on the list too hard. If you lose the list or skip updating it, you're in a worse spot. It just becomes another thing to keep track of. That does not smooth out daily life for me. I do better by remembering stuff in my head, even if I forget sometimes.
