Rant: I spent $800 on a fancy inventory system that just made things worse

We bought this software that promised to sync our stock across our online store and two physical shops. It took a full week to set up and never got the counts right, causing us to oversell items and have to cancel orders. The support team just kept sending us links to the same help pages that didn't fix anything. Has anyone else found a simple, reliable way to handle inventory for a small retail business?

Remember trying to watch that show everyone loved last year. Gave it four whole episodes before I realized I was just staring at my phone the whole time. Some things just don't click, no matter how long you wait for it to get good.
