Switched from handwritten checklists to a shared spreadsheet last month
I used to print out daily shipping logs and mark them with a pen, then hand them off to the next shift. Last month I switched to a Google Sheet everyone can edit in real time. Has anyone else found that simple digital tools cut down more mistakes than fancy software?

Oh man, I gotta push back on this one hard. I switched to a shared spreadsheet last year and it was a total nightmare. The problem is everyone starts editing at the same time and things get overwritten or someone accidentally sorts the whole column wrong and you lose a day of data. I had a guy on the night shift who kept forgetting to lock the cells and he'd drag formulas down over the column headers. Took us forever to untangle that mess. Plus you can't beat having a physical paper trail when the boss asks who changed what at 3am.

Nope, shared spreadsheets are a dumpster fire.
