That 15 minute daily audit saved us $800 in supply waste last quarter
I started checking our inventory against the ship list every morning at 8am. Caught a box of 500 printer cartridges that was about to get reordered while we still had 200 in the back. Has anyone else found a quick daily check that cut their costs?

Those printer cartridges are brutal... we had almost the same thing happen with our toner. One morning I just happened to notice we had two full pallets still wrapped up that nobody marked down. The system said we were at zero stock. That 15 minute check is smart. Our warehouse guy started doing a quick walkaround at 10am and caught a whole crate of paper that was mislabeled as "return to vendor" when it was actually new stock. It's those little mistakes that add up so fast.

The mislabeled "return to vendor" thing is wild. That's the kind of mistake that could cost a lot if nobody catches it. Glad your guy spotted it in time. Sometimes you just gotta trust the physical walkaround more than the computer.
