Spent $340 on a band saw blade sharpener and it's been sitting in my shop since March
I run a small butcher shop in Sacramento and do my own breaking down, so when my bandsaw blades started getting dull every 3 weeks I figured buying a sharpener would pay for itself. Dropped $340 on a used one off a guy in Fresno who swore he used it for his own shop for years. Got it home, set it up, and realized the tooth set on my blades was already too worn to bring back, so all I really did was waste a whole Sunday messing with it and still had to order new blades anyway. I'm wondering if anybody here actually gets good life out of a sharpener or if I just bought myself a $340 paperweight, what's your setup look like?
